Blazing Swan is a community built on participation, respect and looking out for one another. Everyone has a role in helping make Jilakin Rock City a safe and welcoming place.

  • Respect others. Treat people with consideration, regardless of their background, identity, appearance or level of experience at the event.

  • Respect boundaries. Give people space, listen when they express discomfort and don't pressure others to participate in activities they don't want to.

  • Don't tolerate harassment or bullying. Discriminatory, threatening, intimidating or abusive behaviour has no place at Blazing Swan.

  • Be mindful of your impact. Consider how your actions affect the people around you, particularly in shared campsites, communal spaces and at night.

  • Help without escalating. If you see someone being targeted or treated badly, check whether they need support. If it's safe, seek help from a Ranger or the appropriate crew rather than escalating the situation.

  • Look after the community. Small acts of consideration can make a significant difference to someone else's experience.

Blazing Swan has zero tolerance for theft, assault and consent violations. Serious breaches of the Event Attendance Terms and Conditions may result in removal from the event, future bans and/or Police involvement.

If something doesn't feel right, don't simply assume someone else will deal with it. Speak up, seek support and help keep Jilakin Rock City safe for everyone.

For information about consent, refer to the dedicated Consent section of this guide and the Blazing Swan website.
