Chapter 4.1 Leaving Blazing Swan
The Shire of Kulin has kindly offered free waste disposal for Blazing Swan participants at the Kulin Waste Transfer Station during and after the Event.
The facility is located on Truebody Street, approximately 2 km from the Kulin Post Office, and is generally open from 10 am to 3 pm.
To help keep the facility clean and prevent rubbish blowing around, please sort your waste into the following categories before you arrive:
Glass: Take glass to the designated glass recycling area at the facility. (Although, of course, you shouldn't have brought any glass to Blazing Swan!)
Aluminium cans: Use the designated recycling bins within Jilakin Rock City. Check the site map for locations.
General waste: Food scraps, packaging, paper, cardboard and all other rubbish must be secured in plastic bags before arrival. Place these bags in the general waste bins provided.
Please secure all rubbish properly during transport and follow any instructions from staff at the facility.
