Chapter 1.2 - Get Prepared
We ask that you DO NOT bring glass bottles to the event
Glass and Blazing Swan do not mix. Glass on dancefloors and in public areas is a MOOP nightmare and public hazard. Remember your civic responsibility!
Transfer liquids to reusable plastic bottles prior to the event or bring aluminium cans - you can gift them to the local Lions Club who turn them into hard cash for the good people of Kulin Shire.
Packaging
Wrapping or packaging. If it’s new - whatever it is - unwrap it at home.
Weapons, Fireworks and Drugs and other
Don’t bring weapons, explosives, fireworks, unauthorised animals, illegal drugs, dried plants with seeds or live plants of any type, unauthorised lasers or drones, or styrofoam.
Feathers, Glitter and Confetti
Unless you are a performance artist in Theme Camps, do not bring feathers, glitter or confetti.
The ground we camp on is used at other times of year to grow barley and the value of the crop (and our value to the farmer) isn’t enhanced by bits and pieces we’ve left behind.
Follow our Principle, “Leave no trace”.
Unauthorised Drones
Drones must be approved ahead of times, if you have not sort this out before leaving, please leave your drone at home.
