Blazing Swan takes place on a working cropping and livestock farm in an area of significant ecological importance. Please help us protect the land, local wildlife and livestock by following these biosecurity guidelines.
Clean your gear: If you’re travelling from interstate or overseas, thoroughly clean any camping gear and footwear used while camping overseas, removing all dirt and seeds before arriving. This is especially important to transit through federal and state quarantine.
Leave animals alone: Avoid close contact with native wildlife or livestock on or around the event site. Feeding animals is strictly prohibited.
Stay within the event site: Entering farmland outside the event site is illegal, except during a declared emergency evacuation. The saltlake is not part of the event site and the mud causes irritation to the skin, please remain on the designated event area.
Don’t bring plants: Do not bring any live plants or dried plants containing seed pods to the event.
Take food waste home: Do not bury food scraps. Take all food waste home with you for disposal.
These simple steps help protect the farm, its animals and the surrounding environment.
