Chapter 2.3 - Safety & Security
Living and participating in a temporary city with thousands of people can occasionally lead to disagreements. Addressing issues early and calmly can prevent them from escalating.
Where appropriate, speak calmly and respectfully with the person involved.
Respect people's boundaries and disengage if a conversation becomes aggressive.
Don't threaten, intimidate or use physical force to resolve a disagreement.
If you feel unsafe or the situation is escalating, move away and seek assistance from a Ranger or other appropriate crew member.
For serious incidents, use the established incident reporting process.
You don't have to resolve every disagreement yourself. Getting support early is better than allowing a situation to escalate.
