Theme Camp Electrical Testing and Tagging

All Theme Camp fire extinguishers must be tested and tagged within the last 6 months. Eg Nov 2019 (based on April event date) would be the last tag date accepted on site. Anything tagged after Nov 19 is acceptable.

As part of our commitment to support Artists and Theme Camps at Blazing Swan, Blazing Swan will cover the costs of this exercise. For background – corporate businesses will often be charged $10 per tag – so it can become a costly affair.

You may drop off items at the Nest from 1st March.

Electrical testing and tagging will take place at the nest on two dates:

  • Saturday 7th March 10am -4pm
  • Sunday 15th March 10am- 4pm

You will be required to have at least one camp member to assist in the test and tag process.

Please ensure all leads /power boards have been inspected by you for damaged plugs, nicks or cuts in the cable and are neatly packed, and boxes labelled with camp or owners name and phone number.

You may drop off your fire extinguisher at the Nest from 1st March.

Fire extinguisher must have a current tag (tagged within the last 6 months) – Eg Nov 2019 would be the latest tag date accepted.

Fire extinguisher testing and tagging will take place at the nest on Monday 16th March

We request you arrange to pick up your fire extinguisher by 29th March.
