RopeSpace is a safe space where blazers can experience the beautiful art of kinbaku, a connective style of Japanese rope bondage. We will be running workshops, providing experiences and demonstrations. The camp will consist of two star domes. One truncated 7.9m diameter and one 6m diameter.
RopeSpace aims to show that rope bondage can be used to communicate and connect with people in a deep and spiritual way. Simply put, kinbaku brings people together through the silent story that’s shared by both the one who ties and the tied.
Blazing Swan is a non-profit company based in Perth WA. It’s a collective of artists/producers whom have all attended the Burning Man Festival in the USA and were inspired to organize an official regional event in WA.
The Blazing Swan event aims to build a temporary village, with participation by the community whose identity is uniquely ours. We strive to respect our cultural memes and honour our landscape by fully understanding our impact upon it.
